After deciding on an afternoon session at WSM,arrived early at 3ish,4hrs b4 high tide.Meet johno there both windmeters reading 18-25knts,nice.
Only prob was no water yet? i was gonna rig 5.0 & take 92lt board & have a big walk out. Then the rain came through so sat tight for a while,& the wind dropped a touch. After a bit more rain rigged a loose 5.7 &took the 92lt,by now had wasted at least 45mins.After a 20 min walk out to the brown soup, got on nicely powered up for bout 20mins,but as the tide pushed in the wind was slowly dissapearing. So much so that now wobbaling about, had a walk back & got the flow, managed a couple of planning runs on this & then yet more wobbling bout, After lots of swearing & cusing called it a day, basiclly a load of shite, left the beach with an 8knt wind blowing.
Days like this r when you wonder y u Bother? Would give it 1.5 stars..... :(
